Everything in the world is not an independent existence,  they all have some kind of connection and communication with others.  And there is no totally enclosed space in nature, like the sculpture of Basin and Range, so as the museum, the spaces are connected by air gaps and visual transparency.  (the picture is a miniature sculpture I made)
